Rieko Shofu brings to POKKA a career shaped equally by corporate strategy and the instinct of a marketer. Over more than two decades in marketing, brand management and corporate consulting in Japan, she formed a conviction she has carried ever since: that what makes organisations endure is not process alone, but the capacity of people within them to imagine differently.

She joined POKKA SAPPORO Food & Beverage Ltd. in Japan in 2016 before moving to Singapore in 2018 as Group CEO of POKKA Corporation (Singapore). She led the business through a pandemic and kept it oriented towards its essential purpose: bringing Genuine Vitality to Life across Singapore, Malaysia, and over 50 countries. By 2025, she was appointed Executive Managing Director and Member of the Board of Sapporo Holdings Ltd. — a mark of the deep trust the Group places in her leadership.

As Chairman, she leads with the belief that “What makes you human is creativity” — empowering her teams to take ownership and to meet a changing world with original thinking. She sees a global consumer growing more health-conscious and discerning, and in POKKA, a brand built precisely for this moment. To the next generation, her counsel is unsparing: “What got you here won’t get you there.” Outside of work, she finds balance in the Japanese tea ceremony and in swimming — both practices that speak to the same quality she brings to leadership: presence, and the will to be fully in it.

Graeme Ng
Chief Commercial Officer

Graeme Ng brings over 25 years of commercial leadership experience within the consumer products and FMCG sector, with a career spanning sales, marketing, and general management roles across diverse and complex markets. Prior to joining POKKA, he established a strong track record of driving sustainable growth and performance, developing a deep understanding of market dynamics, consumer behaviour, and competitive positioning. His experience reflects a consistent ability to translate commercial ambition into results by aligning strategic objectives with organisational priorities in fast-moving, highly competitive environments.

Currently serving as Chief Commercial Officer at POKKA Pte Ltd, Graeme leads the integrated oversight of sales, marketing, and supply chain management across the company’s flagship brands. His focus lies in strengthening operational cohesion across these functions, ensuring strategy translates into execution with clarity, discipline, and consistency. In addition, he oversees business operations in Singapore, Malaysia and International market, with responsibility for driving sustained performance, disciplined growth, and long-term profitability across all markets.

Prior to his current role, Graeme held the position of General Manager for Singapore Domestic Sales, where he successfully navigated complex commercial landscapes to deliver targets and strengthen market share. His leadership portfolio spans Modern Trade, General Trade, and Vending channels, alongside a strong emphasis on building people capability and commercial depth within teams. During his tenure as Chairman and Director of POKKA Logistic Singapore Pte Ltd, he further broadened his impact by shaping the strategic direction of logistics and warehousing operations, ensuring these critical functions supported the business with resilience, efficiency, and future readiness.

Eiko Kuboaki
Chief Financial Officer

Eiko Kuboaki joined the Sapporo Group in Japan in September 2018 and was appointed Director of POKKA Pte Ltd in March 2024. Since May 2025, she has also taken on the responsibilities of Chief Financial Officer.

In her role as Director, she oversees Pokka’s shared services and manufacturing functions, ensuring strong operational foundations that support the company’s continued growth in Singapore and across its regional markets.

Finance and accounting form the core of her professional background. Over the course of her career, she has gained extensive experience working with Western multinational companies, which has given her a broad international perspective on business management, governance and financial discipline.

Eiko is focused on strengthening Pokka’s operational fundamentals while supporting long term business continuity and sustainable growth. She believes strongly in thoughtful, respectful team leadership and in building resilient organisations that can thrive in an evolving global marketplace.

Takuya Fukunaga
Chief Executive Officer

Takuya Fukunaga joined POKKA as Chief Executive Officer with a leadership philosophy grounded in preparation, discipline, and clarity of intent. Guided by the belief that victory belongs to those who think ahead and prepare thoroughly (多算勝、少算不勝), Fukunaga leads with a strong sense of responsibility to customers, employees, society, and shareholders. Central to his approach is the understanding that people are shaped by different values, and that leadership requires respect for this diversity rather than assuming one perspective is superior to others.

For him, POKKA represents far more than beverages. It stands for human connection, shared moments, and memories that are quietly woven into everyday life. While deeply respectful of the brand’s heritage, he believes innovation must always come first if that heritage is to remain relevant. Since joining the company, he has placed a strong emphasis on integrating IT and AI across the organization, viewing them not merely as tools for efficiency but as enablers of new ways to understand customers and respond to increasingly diverse lifestyles and expectations.

Looking ahead, he envisions POKKA as an organization where employees proactively create innovation, grow through continuous learning, and deliver meaningful value that earns long-term trust and respect from society. Sustainability, in his view, is not an optional initiative but a fundamental prerequisite of sound business management, on equal footing with compliance. Influenced by the strategic thinking of Kenichi Ohmae, and grounded personally through family time and regular jogging, he leads with humility, curiosity, and a firm belief that continuous learning is essential for leaders navigating an AI-shaped future.
